Great Domesday

Most of the survey was organised into a large volume known as Great Domesday.

This contains information from much of England.

Little Domesday

Three eastern counties were recorded in greater detail.

Their information was placed in a separate volume known as Little Domesday.

Despite its name, Little Domesday contains more detailed information than Great Domesday.
